7 Cruelty-Free Lists || Lists That Make Cruelty-Free Beauty Shopping Easy

This will make shopping for cruelty free beauty so much easier.

Here are 7 Cruelty Free Lists!

They have a "Companies That Do Not Test on Animals" list and "Companies That Do Test on Animals" list.
The site is easy to navigate and you can search by name.
You can download the lists as a pdf file.

You can search for the company by name. You can look up company name alphabetically.
They offer a free app for iPhone and Android for free.

In addition to being an awesome beauty blog, Tashina contacts companies and keeps the list updated.
Companies that are vegan are clearly marked. Also there is a distinction between cruelty free companies that have a non-cruelty-free parent company.

The list includes companies that are PETA and LeapingBunny certified. Also, if there is a correspondence between the company on the list and Suzi (the author of Cruelty-Free Kitty).
The list is also kept updated. This is also a great beauty blog.

Here companies that have some vegan products and, or vegetarian products are labeled.
There is also a label for companies that meet cruelty-free criteria but "some products contain animal ingredients or killed insects." The list is kept updated.

This list categories beauty, drugstore, and household products. There is also a list of companies that sell in China, which as you know requires animal testing. I like the layout and I'm sure you will do. There is a lot of information that is easy to read and not overwhelming.

Here you will find a list for Sephora and Ulta specific brands. There are clear labels between vegan, Leaping Bunny certified, and parent company status. There is also helpful guides for going cruelty free.

I hope these resources help you out. I know I refer to them almost daily. Let me know if you know if any other lists.

☼ ❀ ❊ Cruelty-Free & Natural Deodorants |:| Review & Comparison! || The good, the bad, and the UGLY!

Hello guys!

If you have "liked" my Facebook page, you would know that I promised a comparison/review post for these three deodorants. Sorry, it has taken me a while to post this! I hope you get something out of it! It's been a STRUGGLE to find a good cruelty-free deodorants. They all pretty much suck!

I'm going to give you a mini-review for each deodorant and then let you know which one I prefer.

***NOT sponsored! I have one link (that's the only one you need, trust me)!

1. alba Botanica: Clear Enzyme: Deodorant Stick
Claims:
Hypo-allergenic
Preservative Free
PG Free
Aluminum Free

I like how this smells. It's really fresh and flowery (because of the lavender). I've never been a fan of gel-stick deodorants so I don't like that. It claims to be"long lasting", but unfortunately that is NOT NOT true! I've worn it day-to-day and when I've exercised and it sucks! I'm sorry to say. What's worse is that when you sweat (sorry TMI), the sweat sticks to your clothing. So the funk from your sweat might not cling to you but it will transfer onto your clothing! HUGE thumbs down.

2. Desert Essence: Tea Tree Oil Deodorant
Claims:
Non-GMO
"Long-Lasting"
Propylene Glycol Free
& Aluminum Free

This has an herbal-ly scent and I prefer it. Maybe because it's a bit stronger. Also, it's not a gel-deodorant! I feel like the gel-deodorants are more slippery and rub-off more easily. However, I DO NOT like it much more than the alba botanica one. It also rubs-off on my clothes and the odor sticks to them.

In an effort to give this guy the benefit of doubt and after a lot of testing I did find it works well (a bit better) if you only plan to wear it for a few hours (less than 4). However, to keep it fresh the entire day I had to carry it with me and reapply. I just don't want to have to be self-conscious about sweating and stinking up the place, lol! I would NOT repurchase it. However, if for some reason I can't find my deodorant and have nothing else, I prefer this one to the alba one.

 Claims:
Vegan
Pure
Hand-crafted
Organic

I received this guy in my December Petit Vour Box and I'm so glad I did! The guy works just as well as your drug-store traditional deodorants (maybe even better). It will last me the entire day! If I am just going to school or working (day-to-day) or if I exercise!
(By drug-store I mean your traditional deodorants).

However, unlike your drug-store deodorants, the MMT lets your pits sweat! LOL!  So if you don't want to sweat at all, this is not be for you. The sweat is nothing crazy! It only happened to me when I exercised, not on my day-to-day days. However, unlike the ones mentioned above this guy DOES not sweat onto my clothes and keeps the funk away! I prefer that this deodorant allows my pores to sweat. I don't have to tell you that your regular "drug-store" deodorants are not good for the skin on your armpits.

I also like it because you really don't need a lot. The jar says to use a "pea-sized" amount. I use a about a pea-and-a-half amount, I feel like it lasts longer! The jar I got was a sample, so you can get the full size jar (2.4 oz) for $14.99. I got mine in December and it lasted me through the last week of February, so about three months. This is with me using it everyday. Again, my jar is the sample size. So while it's a bit more pricey, it totally worth it.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post! I will be repurchasing the MMT for sure. I will also continue to try other cruelty-free deodorants. If I gather another bunch, I will be sure to review it for you guys.

Let me know what you think and your recommendations!

Lots of Love,
Camila

Beessential: A Three Product Review! Hand & Body Cream, Lavender & Honey, Lemon & Lavender Lip Balm (Cruelty-Free NOT Vegan (obvs.))

Hello guys!

I'm really excited to share these products with you all. However, I want to be honest and let you know that they were sent to me. Meaning, I did not pay for them, but I am not being paid to write this review. Also, they are not vegan.

Anyways, now that we got that out of the way...

**disclaimer: Links are NOT affiliates, they are there to help you find the product quickly.

When I first applied this lotion I REALLY liked it. However, seeing I had just received it in the mail and I was really excited, I didn't want to rush my opinion. In order to test this lotion properly I put it in my backpack (I'm usually at school 7-12ish a day) and have been carrying it with me for almost three weeks and its always by my side on my computer desk. I can tell you that I really LOVE this lotion. I think the honey especially agrees with my skin. It's not oily and will help you so much if you have chronically dry hands like me. I also use it on my legs, I have REALLY dry skin on my legs and sensitive skin (when I shave), this does not irritate my skin, rather calms it down.

I have the 100% Pure French Lavander Hand Buttercream, which I LOVE (great alternative) but not as much as I like this one.

It's formaldehyde free. paragon free, and PEG free.

6 fl. oz - $ 12.99

I have a few favorite lip balms and so I'm pretty picky about the ones I try. The girl who emailed me about doing this review, mentioned this lip balm in particular, as it has been voted by TopBeauty.com as the best lip balm. I have to be honest, when I think of beeswax lip balms, I'm NEVER a fan. I always find them hard to apply and not moisturizing at all. I have to say I really, really like this one. It's super moisturizing and goes on smoothly. It's not oily at all and will not give you a "clear-lipgloss" effect. If you like lip balms that aren't "wet" I'm sure you'll like this one.

0.15 oz - $2.99

3. Beessential: Lavender & Honey: Bee Calm & Carry On:

I'm such a sucker for soaps! I was super excited to try this one. I have to say from the stuff I received this is third on my list. I don't hate it but it didn't impress me as much as the products I already mentioned. Not that it's not good. It's definitely not drying, as in my opinion most bar soaps tend to be. As you use it you can see the honey in it. If you like honey (honey is GREAT for the skin) you will really like it. I say, give it a try. It might just be for you. It is good for acne prone skin. Did I see a huge difference? No. Nothing miraculous, it did make my skin feel nice though. I want to try the other soaps they make.

I hope you enjoyed this. I hope more than anything that you will give this brand a try. (If you're not vegan). They have SO many products! Search their site and see if you like anything! (Again, links are to help you find the products more quickly not affiliate links). Try the lotions! They have other scents!

Lots of Love,
Camila

J a n u a r y ❆ 2015 || Petit Vour Box (Vegan and Cruelty-Free Luxury Samples)

Ciao guys!

Today I'm excited to bring you my Petit Vour January Box. I've yet to be disappointed with a box and this month is no exception. I am so happy with everything I received!

This month's box is called "The New Luxury" and it's a collaboration with My Kind of Life

Before I share what I got, I want to thank Petit Vour for featuring HumanelyChic on their Facebook page among 16 CrueltyFreeBeauty Bloggers to Follow Now
What a great great honor to be featured among Logical Harmony, The Little Foxes, Vegan Beauty Review, etc!

1. RawSkinCeuticals: Rose Creme Cheek Color | Value: $15.00
I have not used this on my cheeks but I have swatched it and WOW! You will not be working with a toned down color by any means. It also turns into a powdery texture. I will be doing a "Shopping My Makeup" post later and will put this to the text then!

 2. Modern Minerals: En Pointe Eye Shadow | Value: $12.50
AHH! I LOVE pinky/rose-golden eye shadows. I have more of these toned eyeshadows than I need. I love this already! It also had has a filter which is much appreciated in a mineral eyeshadow.
Note: This shade 'en pointe' is custom for Petit Vour! <3

As you can tell this is more of a fuchsia pink than a rose-gold.

3. 100% Pure: French Lavender Hand Buttercream | Value: $8.00
Talk about perfect timing. I was at school the day this box came in, my hands had been so dry. If you've ever had dry hands and no lotion, ay what a pain that is. I have used this and it's not greasy (which is a must for a hand cream in my opinion) yet it's very comforting. I have never tried any 100% Pure products so I'm glad I have a chance to give them a shot. I'm not a big fan of lavender but I'm staring to grow fond of it; lots of natural products are lavender scented!

4. EVOLVh: Leave-In-Conditioner | Value: $8.00 (Full Size: $26.00)
This has to be my favorite product of this month's box. It's supposed to "[fortify] weak strands and prevents future breakage". It smells AMAZING! I cannot put my finger on the scent, it's like a high-end perfume. I have used it once so I cannot tell you if it does everything it claims, but I will say my hair feels especially silky and thick today. Have you used this product? I will definitely put this to the test!

I hope you enjoyed this post!! Have you signed up for Petit Vour yet? What are you waiting for!! :P
Lots of Love,
Camila

❄︎ ❄︎ D e c e m b e r ❆ ❆ 2014 Petit Vour Box!

Hello guys!
I wanted to end the season right! Today we took down our Christmas decorations and our tree. It was sad! It might seem a bit late to be taking it down in January but it's something that's becoming a tradition in my family. I really wanted to share my December Petit Box because I thought it was an exceptionally good one (even if it's a bit late). I'm really LOVING my this box! It's always such a good surprise!

Side note: This is not a review! I do have a few comments!

***I wasn't send this!

1. Meow Meow Tweet: Deodorant Cream- Lavender
Oh man! Do I have a love hate relationship with natural deodorant! I have yet to try one that I like. I hate ever single one I've tried! (I'll save that for another blog post).
I have liked this one! It doesn't wear off easily. However, I haven't been working out or doing much activity so I haven't tested it's full staying power. (Sidetone: I need to start running again!!!!) I just don't like that you have to dip your finger in the jar to get the product out. I like the sent! It's nice and fresh. Even though I'm not a huge fan of lavender.

Full-Size is 2.4 oz and retail for $14.00.

2. EveryDay Minerals blush- "All Smiles"
I LOVE THIS! It's your basic peachy-pink blush and its matte. It's something I see myself wearing everyday. I want to share a look using it so you can see how it looks on.

Full Size $12.00!

3. blissoma Solutions:
This is suppose to target "blemishes and inflammation while balancing. Intensively regenerates skin..." It's meant for oily, acne, irritated and discolored skin.
I was really happy when I saw this! At the time I received this box (the week before Christmas) my skin was going berserk! I haven't used this enough to form an opinion. I will have to keep trying it. I really HATE the dropper applicator. It doesn't really pick up the product because the product is too thick.
Full Size: 1 oz for $25.99

 5.  Trust Fund Beauty- "Just Talk to My Lawyer"
This nail polish or "le vernix" is free of toluene, formaldehyde, lead, nickel, and phthalates.
On camera the red shimmer shows up more vibrant than in person. If you look at your nails directly under natural sunlight you will see all those beautiful golden shimmers clearly. Otherwise, it's more of a very dark (almost black) vampy color. I'm really enjoying it. It has great staying power. I haven't been using a top coat and it will last at least four days on me.

This is a full size product. It retails for $16.00. So just this product alone pays for the box, which is $15.00 a month. I really love that about this subscription box in particular, you are getting a great deal.

So yeah! That was my December 2014 Petit Vour Box. Again, I bought this with my money. I have loved every single box and I really encourage you give it a try. Remember these products are not only cruelty-free but also vegan.
Lots of Love,
Camila

PetitVour Vegan & Cruelty-Free Beauty-Box || Beauty and the Box | September 2014

Hey guys! I'm so excited to share my first PetitVour Box with you. It's called Beauty and the Box this month!

I really wanted to jump on the beauty-subscription train since BirchBox became popular. I just think the idea of having beauty products to try each month for $10-15 bucks is amazing! If you're a beauty junkie you know what I mean!

Around the time BirchBox became popular I decide to go vegetarian and then I decided to explore cruelty-free makeup, so BirchBox wasn't an option. Then I discovered the lovely Tashina from LogicalHarmony and when she partnered with Petit Vour, I knew Petit Vour would be the one.

So this is the September Petit Vour Box, co-created by Logical Harmony! It's $15 a month (free shipping in the US) or you can get a 3-month subscription for $45.00, 6-months for $ 90.00, etc.

Don't get me started on how awesome I think it is that a fellow blogger is part of this! It just makes me ooze with happiness! Also, I'm really itching to try another box, I'm thinking VeganCuts!

(Upper Left: LVX 5 Free Nail Lacquer in "Lolli", Upper Right: Ellovi Tinted Lip Butter, Lower Left: Yarok Leave-In Conditioner, Lower Right: Roots Science Skincare )

My box came with four goodies! Remember that not all boxes are the same, you might get different products than me.

1. LVX Nail Lacquer in "Lolli" : Value: $16.00
I was so beyond excited when I opened the box and saw that I got a nail polish! I've been on a big nail polish kick as of late.
I've had a chance to try this guy (I got the box three days ago) and I have mixed feelings.
I love that fact that it's a VEGAN nail polish! It's a gorgeous "cotton-candy" pink. A color I normally wouldn't pick out for myself but I really love it on. It makes my hands look feminine. It needs at least two (I prefer three) coats for an opaque application. The main reason I'm not 100% in love is because it chips pretty quickly. The picture above was taken 12ish hours after I applied it. I've been having bad luck with nail polish lately.

2. YAROK Leave-In Conditioner: Value: $13.20
This is really good for your hair because it has vitamins, minerals and essential oils. I've only sprayed this twice so I can't give a lot of opinions about it. I will say that it made my hair feel super smooth right away. I also like that it's a very nice sized sample! I'm super excited to continue using this one!

3. Roots Science SkinCare: Value: (Full-Size) $49.00-59.00
This guy is the most intriguing of the bunch. It's a type of face wash/mask. It's made with organic cold pressed minerals which are supposed to detoxify your skin. I have not tried this and so I'm telling you what I know about it if from the little card that lists all the products I received in my box. It has its own card with instructions. I'm really excited to try this!

4. ellovi Tinted Lip Butter: Value: $5.00
I have had a chance to try this one and I'm really liking it. What can I say I adore lip products. It has a slight, slight tint which comes from " the red root of a Mediterranean flower called askant". It smells a bit chocolately to me. It's nice! I'm really enjoying it! It's only made with 6-ingredients.

The entire box's value is ~ $83.20 !

I'm so happy I decide to try this & overall I'm quite in love.

I hope you enjoyed reading this! Leave me feedback if you'd like!
Lots of Love,
Camila

Josie Maran Cruelty-Free Correspondence

Hey guys.
I wanted to share the emails a wonderful reader/friend of this blog sent me. Aurelie. She sent them to me a while back, but I honestly haven't had much time. I try to post at least once a week, and I usually post a Snatch-It-Up Sunday.

I am interested in buying from your company but would like to be assured that your products are cruelty-free. I have some questions I would appreciate you address.

1. Does your company test ingredients or/and finished products on animals?
2. Do you test ingredients or products on animals through a 3rd party? If your answer is no, how do you ensure that your manufacturers do not test?
3. Do your manufacturers test ingredients or products on animals?
4. Are you owned or affiliated with any companies that test products or ingredients on animals?
5. Do you have a parent company? If so who are they?
6. Do you/your parent company currently or have plans to market and sell your products in the Chinese market, which requires animal testing by law to sell in that country?
7. Do you use palm oil/carnuaba wax in any of your products? If so, is it from an organic and sustainable source?
8. Could you provide a list of all of your current vegan items available for purchase?

Thank you in advance for you cooperation!
They sent her this reply:

Thank you for taking the time to write in, my name is [name omitted]. We deeply apologize for the delayed response, as we're closed over the weekend and the past several days for a company-wide training. Josie Maran Cosmetics is a 100% cruelty-free brand and does not conduct animal testing—nor do we allow any other parties, including our suppliers, to conduct animal testing on our behalf. We're proud to be listed on PETA’s official website as a cruelty-free company.

http://www.peta.org/living/beauty-and-personal-care/companies/365.aspx?SearchUrl=%2Fliving%2Fbeauty-and-personal-care%2Fcompanies%2Fsearch.aspx%3FTesting%3D0%26Range%3D4%26PageIndex%3D2

Please write again if I can help in any way!
Best,

As you can tell, this reply is very vague. Cool, they are part of PETA's list, but that doesn't answer questions like their parent company, etc.

Aurelie, emailed them back:

Hi [name omitted],

You omitted to answer to those questions,

I will really appreciate if you answer to those questions below.

Thank you so much!

 This was their second respond:
Hi [name omitted],

Thank you for following up with us. Josie Maran Cosmetics is a 100% cruelty-free brand and does not conduct animal testing—nor do we allow any other parties, including our suppliers, to conduct animal testing on our behalf. We do partner with our suppliers and manufacturers to ensure our high standards, values, and visions are aligned with being a cruelty free brand. In regards to vegan products, each of our products has a list of icons on the product page. There will be a vegan free icon associated with products that are gluten free. I hope this helps and have a great day.

Please write again if I can help in any way.
Best,
Again, they did not address question #6. Which, in my opinion, needs to be answered!!

She emailed them for the third time.

Hi [name omitted],

Thank you so much for your patience.

You omitted to answer to one last question - the one about Chinese market.

I will really appreciate if you answer to this question below.

6. Do you/your parent company currently or have plans to market and sell your products in the Chinese market, which requires animal testing by law to sell in that country?

Thank you,
You go Aurelie! I love this correspondence! I'm such a nerd, I get so excited!

Hi Aurelie,

Thank you for your response. Our products are not sold in the Chinese market though Josie Maran Cosmetics to our knowledge and consent. Josie Maran Cosmetics is a 100% cruelty-free brand and does not conduct animal testing—nor do we allow any other parties, including our suppliers, to conduct animal testing on our behalf. We're proud to be listed on PETA’s official website as a cruelty-free company. We stand by our values and vision, especially when it comes to animal testing. I hope this helps and have a great day!

Best,
Aurelie and I agree that based on Josie Maran's answers to the questions, we would want to support them. They meet the three critieria I look for when determining a company's cruelty-free status.

Aurelie emailed them back, thanking them for their time. I wanted to share their reply to her. It's not necessary for determining cruelty-free status, however I think companies that treat their costumers with respect deserve to be acknowledged.

Absolutely-if you have any other questions, concerns, or feedback, please don't hesitate to share. We really value customer feedback her at Josie Maran!

Please write again if I can help in any way.
Best,
Isn't that a lovely email to read? I have received quite a number of emails that are not so friendly.

I hope you found this post helpful! I certainly did. Thank you Aurelie! You are awesome & you are going to help so many with this post!

Lots of Love,
Camila

January Wish List |

Hey guys!

I love reading Wish List posts, so I thought I'd be fun to share what I'm been wanting this month.
It looks wonderful! I've seen a couple of reviews & it's being raved about. I love my neutral shadows & this would be a great addition to my collection. Those of you who've picked it up, does it smell like chocolate?

Specifically these three: (L to R) 'Deep Burgendy', 'Blue Violet', & 'Coral-Red'!
I swatched them at Ulta & I was throughly impressed.

I actually lost the one I had! I'm so sad! :( I love this, I actually did a review of a bunch of Emani stuff a while ago. My sister and mom always ask to borrow it, so they miss it too.

Left to Right: 'Blush Brush', "Miracle Complexion Sponge' & 'Stippling Brush'
I have the 'starter kit' and the 'core collection'. These brushes are vegan and cruelty-free & AMAZING!!! I use them everyday & I really want to expand my collection.

I have this same dress, so I'm not sure it exactly counts as a wish item, but I do LOVE it. I want to pick up the same one in navy. It's only $8.80!

Ahhh boots! I'm definitely a boot kind of girl. I saw these and fell in love. I think it's a fun pair of shoes, because you can then play around with your socks and make them part of your outfit.

I love wearing tights with my dresses! Especially during the cooler months. (I'd still wear this during summer though, shhh!) I thought these were super fun!

I remember watching this movie a few months after it came out. I didn't really think much of it at the time. This past December it was on on DisneyChannel and I watched it again and BECAME OBSESSED! I watched it everyday during finals week & It got me through. I love it & need to own it :D

Well, that's pretty much it! I've been really wanting all of these things for months now. Maybe next month I'll own a few of them ;) Let me know what you've been wishing for this month!

Lots of Love,
                                                                   Camila

Benefit Cosmetics | Animal Testing Inquiry

UPDATE: A lot of you are letting me know (in the comments) that benefit sells in China. Which in itself tells us that animal testing has occurred. I will not be supporting them! Check out their site.

Hey guys!
I contacted Benefit some time in December. I got a reply from them. I stalled in sharing it because I found it rather vague. However, I thought you'd like to read it and I would also share my thoughts.

I emailed them using the same format I always use.

This was their reply:

Hi Camila,
Benefit does not test our cosmetic products on animals. When selecting the ingredients to be used in our cosmetic products, Benefit requires raw material suppliers to provide safety information based on scientifically accepted alternative testing methods that meet international safety standards and regulations. Benefit products must meet both consumers’ needs and consumer safety, while respecting animal life. Benefit continues to strongly support & favor alternative testing and is committed to following all animal testing laws and regulations in order to ensure our products’ safety for the end consumer.

First of all, they did not address all of my questions. Secondly, as you can tell (I'm sure), the part I've bolded is the definition of vague. They claim to use alternatives to animal testing, but also follow "animal testing laws and regulations". I don't want to speculate too much, but I have a bad feeling about this. I certainly would not purchase from them at this time. I will try to contact them again, asking them to be more specific. I will keep you guys updated.

Lots of Love,
Camila

Sigma Beauty | Animal Testing Correspondence

Hey guys! I got a reply from Sigma. I wanted to share it right away because the correspondence I had with them was smooth! I didn't have to email them more than once, which is nice.

I emailed them using the format I always use.

This was their reply:

7. Do you use palm oil/carnuaba wax in any of your products? If so, is it from an organic and sustainable source?
Yes, extracted from the leaves of Carnauba palm. Yes the Carnauba wax is sustainable and organic.

Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with.

Best Regards,

I'm excited share this with you all. You can imagine I was quite happy when I received this reply.
As for what I look for when determining cruelty-free status, Sigma Beauty meets my criteria. I look for three major factors when determining the animal testing status of a company: parent company , suppliers of raw ingredients, and if products are sold in China. To read more about why I look for these criteria, click here

Share your feedback!
Lots of Love,
Camila

Emani Vegan Cosmetics | Mineral Eyeshadow, Mascara, Brow-Trio and Brush Review

****These were sent to me to review. This review is 100% based on my experience and I will not be receiving compensation for reviewing these products. I love you guys!

I was really confused about the name of this shadow. Champagne? Sure it's shimmer but it reminds me more of a rose gold color.
On Eyes: The shadow itself is beautiful. It was frustrating taking these pictures because I don't think my camera did it justice. I will have to so a 'face of the day' for you guys using this shadow so you can see how it looks on.
Primer?:  Like most mineral products, you will find there is lots of fallout. If you don't usually use eye-shadow primer, I recommend you pick one or use a base. If you use a primer you should be good for most of the day.
Price: $10.50
Repurchase?: This was send to me. I would absolutely purchase this shade again and am already eying others from this collection. Like roller-queen! OMgosh it's beautiful!!!

So intriguing! A soy mascara?! Whose ever heard of such a thing.
Wand: It allowed me to catch my most inner lashes. It has a cool and effective shape. I really liked it!
Packaging: It's sleek, which I enjoyed as well.
Formulation: It's a dry mascara. It doesn't really let you build up the product, or at least that was my experience. I enjoy wet mascara because I like the slightly"clumpy' look they give. Also, because it's more on the dry side it does not clump your lashes.
Price: It retails on Emani's website for $20.00.
Repurchase?: This was send to me but I would not purchase. It's a bit pricey and if I was to spend that cash on a mascara I would choose a mascara that met my needs.

The sun washes out these closers. The picture below is true color.
Colors: The women of my family (meaning my sister and my mother) have different complexions and hair color. My mom is very fair and her hair is a strawberry blonde color. My sister is also fair, she recently dyed her hair an auburn color, but her natural hair color is a medium-tone brown. I have a tan complexion and my hair is black/dark brown. Why am I telling you all this you might be asking. Well, the three of us have used this trio and found it fitting for diverse brow needs.
Also, if you have very sparse brows, it gives a very natural look! I LOVE this trio!
Eyeliner: I like the idea of this being used as a liner. I personally like a dark and thick line. The darkest shade of this trio, in my personal opinion, is not dark enough to be used as a liner. I do not use this for that purpose.
Price: $20.00
Repurchase: It was send to me. I WILL be buying this when I hit pan on it. It's also going to become my signature gift for the women of my family. It's AMAZING!

I didn't find this specific brush on Emani's site. All these products came in a little kit so this brush might not be available for individual sale. I hope that makes sense.
All their products are vegan so this brush is synthetic. I would not imagine using the brow & liner trio without it! It's sooooo soft on your skin. When most people think of synthetic brushes they picture coarse and tense tools that irritate the skin. I think that is one reason brushes made of animal hair are still so common. I can't speak for their entire brush collection, but if this brush is an indicator of the rest of their brushes I am really impressed. I hope to add more to my collection.
Be sure to check out their vegan brush collection. Their prices range from $24.00 to $11.50!

Lots of Love,
Camila

P.S. What product mentioned about intrigued you most?
